1. Contact both your bank and the receiving bank and request a “wire recension” and sign a hold harmless form with the receiving bank to allow the return of funds.
2. Note the name of who you talked to, phone number, email, time of call, and information received for future reference.
3. Confirm if the funds are still in the account, and if not where they were sent including account numbers, routing numbers and bank.
4. File a complaint with IC3.gov
